Acceptance of Terms

• By participating in the yuu Singapore – Singtel 3 Million Points Giveaway 2023 (“Promotion”), you confirmed that you are aged 18 or over, and you agree unconditionally and irrevocably to be bound by, and shall be deemed to accept, these terms (“Terms”) as provided by Minden Singapore Pte. Ltd. (“yuu”, “we” or “us” or "our"), in addition to our Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy (collectively, “Terms of Use”) for our website and/or the mobile app (collectively, “yuu App”), all of which are incorporated by reference into these Terms. Capitalised terms used and not defined herein shall have the same meaning as given to such terms in the Terms of Use.

•  In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and any brochures, marketing or promotional materials relating to the Promotion, these Terms shall prevail.

 Eligibility

• To be eligible for this Promotion, you must:

1. have a registered account with yuu to participate;

2. be aged 18 or above;

3. not be an existing employee of Minden International Pte Ltd

Participation Rules

By Signing up for an eligible new plan with Singtel during the Promotion Period, providing your yuu ID at point of sign-up, and fulfilling the eligibility criteria above, you will be deemed to be participating in the Promotion (“Participant”).

New sign-ups to the following Residential plans (excluding Corporate, CIS plans) are eligible for this Promotion:

This Promotion is only applicable for yuu Members who provided their yuu ID at point of sign-up by:

• Presenting their yuu ID to Singtel staff at point of sign-up, or

• Completing the sign-up on Singtel Online Shop within the yuu App, or

• Manually inputting their yuu ID when signing up on Singtel Online Shop (mobile plans only).

If the new Singtel plan is cancelled before the service starts, the entry to this Promotion will be forfeited. No entries can be retrospectively submitted if a yuu ID is not provided or incorrectly provided at point of sign-up.

Prizes

•  Participants stand a chance to win 200,000 yuu Points.

• There will be a total of fifteen (15) winning Participants (each a “Winner”, and collectively the “Winners”). Each Winner shall win only ONE (1) Prize.

• The Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, refundable nor redeemable for cash or any other prizes. Where a Prize becomes unavailable for any reason, yuu reserves the right to substitute that prize for a prize of equal or higher value.

•  Prizes exclude any administrative costs.

• Prizes not awarded for this Promotion are forfeited.

Selection and Announcement of Winners

• Winners are drawn based on a randomised computerised system.

  1. The draw will be conducted by 17 Nov 2023

  2. We will contact the Winners via the email or mobile number registered with us. The Winner must acknowledge and accept the prize by 24 Nov 2023.

  3. If the Winner does not respond and claim the Prize by the stipulated date by 24 Nov 2023, the prize will be forfeited.

Promotion Period

• To be eligible for this Promotion, the new sign-up must be made between 28 Sep 2023 to 1 Nov 2023.

• In cases where additional time is needed for the Singtel service to start (e.g. installation for fibre broadband plans), only services started by 12 Nov 2023 will be entered into this draw.

• We will announce the results of the Promotion on this website at the conclusion of the promotion.

• In the event a Winner cancels, returns, or refunds the Order, even after the announcement has been made determining that they are the Winner, the Order shall be deemed void, and the Winner will have to forfeit the Prize.

General Terms

• When you participate in the Promotion, we may collect personal data from you, which may include personal information such as photographs, name and username that you may upload, provide or use. Any personal data that we collect may be used by us, or shared with or transferred to third parties (including but not limited to, related companies, third party service providers or partners), for the following purposes: (a) to organise, promote or conduct the Promotion, (b) general publicity and marketing purposes for yuu.

• You agree (where intellectual property rights belong to you) to grant an irrevocable worldwide, transferable licence to us to use the following materials, and (where intellectual property rights do not belong to you) you consent and do not object to us using the following materials for marketing and promotional purpose for a period of one (1) year the date of the draw:

a. materials you submitted in relation to this Promotion;
b. any photographs or videos taken of you, by you or for you in relation to your participation in the Promotion; and/or
c. any write-up in relation to the Promotion with you mentioned.

• You agree to indemnify us from any loss, damage, fine, regulatory action, claim or compensation of whatever nature brought by any third party arising from your actions or omissions in the Promotion.

• We shall not be responsible to you for any loss, damage, fine, regulatory action claim or compensation of whatever nature arising from or related to the Promotion (“Liabilities”). In the event that any Liabilities are not excluded by the foregoing sentence, our maximum aggregate liability to you in respect of such Liabilities, whether under all applicable laws of contract, tort or otherwise, shall to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law be SGD 500.

• Where we deem that a Participant has breached of any of these Terms and/or the Terms of Use, including fraudulently participating in the Promotion, we reserve the right, at their sole and absolute discretion, to prevent or restrict access of that Participant to the yuu App. If Prizes have been claimed, we also reserve the right to reclaim or seek compensation or restitution without any recourse from the Participant.

• A person who is not a party to these Terms shall have no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap. 53B) to enforce any of these terms and conditions.

• These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore.

• Any dispute, controversy, difference or claim arising out of or relating to this Agreement, including the existence, validity, interpretation, performance, breach or termination thereof or any dispute regarding non-contractual obligations arising out of or relating to it, shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration administered by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (“SIAC”) under the Arbitration Rules of the SIAC. The seat of arbitration shall be Singapore. The number of arbitrators shall be one. The arbitration proceedings shall be conducted in English.

• We reserve the right to change these Terms at its sole discretion and without prior notice, and has the sole and absolute discretion to decide on all matters to do with this Promotion. This includes but is not limited to the interpretation of these terms, eligibility of Participants, and any matter in relation to the Prizes.

• Any clause in these Terms that are invalid, unenforceable or illegal shall be deemed severed and shall not affect the enforceability of any other clauses which shall continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
